Practical guides to booking car service in New York City — how the three airports compare, when a black car beats a rideshare, when hourly hire beats point-to-point, and how far ahead to leave for a flight. Written from how we actually dispatch, not from a keyword list.
Most writing about car service in New York is a booking form with paragraphs around it. These are not that. Each one answers a question people actually ask us, with real journey times attached and the cases where booking a car is the wrong call left in.

If you are booking for the first time, read the hourly versus point-to-point guide. It explains which way to book a given trip, when it pays to keep the car waiting, and the questions worth answering before you request a quote.
If you are deciding between a booked car and an app, the black car versus Uber comparison is the honest version — including the trips where we would tell you to open the app instead.
If you have a flight to catch, the JFK departure timing guide and the airport comparison are the two that prevent actual problems.

How these are written
Every statement about our own service comes from the same data that generates the booking pages, so a guide cannot drift out of step with how we actually operate.
Where we have a commercial interest in the answer — and on most of these we do — the guide says so and gives you the counter-case anyway. A comparison that never concludes against us would not be worth reading, and would not be trusted by anybody who has booked this before.
Journey times, traffic windows and route notes come from dispatching these runs rather than from a mapping tool. They describe what we plan against, including the bad cases.
